All high school students must meet the minimum number of non-profit volunteer hours for their grade level in order to participate in field trips and school activities.
Mrs. Wease started at Union Academy in 2012 as the Attendance Officer. She has since held a few different positions at UA including Assistant PowerSchool Coordinator and Registrar. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and worked with the 20th District Court Judge's office and a private law office prior to joining the staff at UA.
Mrs. Wease has recently assumed the role of High School Activities Coordinator here at UA and is super excited as she has attended each and every field trip. She is most proud of her family. She and her husband Chris met in college and were married in 1999. They have 3 children. Hannah who graduated from Union Academy in 2021 and attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Brackett, who graduated from Union Academy in 2022 and attends Appalachian State University, and Everett who is in high school at Union Academy. Anyone who knows Mrs. Wease knows her love of Union Academy athletics and activities. She is most competitive and is often heard cheering on our teams.
