BOO BASH 2024

Tickets

  • Wristbands go on sale October 1st for $8 each on MyPaymentsPlus.  
  • Wristbands include admission, live music, Trunk'r Treat, hayrides, face painting, bonfires, games, and parking.  
  • Food trucks will be available, including Hungry Howies, Eggroll Company, Hot Dog Too, Carolina Funnel Cakes, Chips & Dip, and Tickle My Ribs BBQ. DECA will sell cotton candy and FFA will have hot chocolate and cider.

Wristband Pickup

  • Pick up your wristbands at the BOO Bash table at the North Lot entrance from October 21-23, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.  
  • Orders must be picked up by 1:00 PM on these days. If purchased after 1:00 PM, pick up the next day.  
  • If not picked up by the 23rd, all wristbands will be available at the NORTH gate starting at 4:00 PM on the 26th.

Important Deadlines

  • Last day to buy an $8 wristband on MPP: October 25, 1:00 PM (no exceptions).  
  • Wristbands will be available for $10 at the NORTH gate on October 26 starting at 4:30 PM.  
  • Everyone 5 and over must have a wristband for entry; kids 4 and under are free and can enjoy the Little Boo's section.

Costume Contest

  • K-12 Students, meet Mrs Marshall in the Lower School Cafe to have your picture taken and enter the contest. 

Haunted Halls

  • Tickets available for purchase starting at 5:00 PM on event day
  • $3 per ticket ($3.33 with credit)
  • Limited tickets available, sold by specific time slots:
    • 5:00–5:30 PM
    • 5:30–6:00 PM
    • 6:00–6:30 PM
    • etc... last slot is 8:30 - 9:00 PM
  • Please arrive at the start of your designated time slot
  • No refunds for lost tickets
  • Important Reminder: No one is to touch any of the actors or decorations. In past years, we've had issues with students damaging the halls, spitting, or kicking. Please help us keep this a fun experience by respecting the space and participants.

Event Details

  • All sales are final; no refunds.  
  • Admission includes parking, games, hayrides, Trunk'r Treat, and entertainment.  
  • Bring lawn chairs to relax.  
  • Concessions, food trucks, and the Haunted Halls are extra (cash only for Haunted Halls, $3 per tour; food trucks accept cash and cards).  
  • This event is for UA families only, not open to the public.  Please invite your cousins and grandparents - UA extended families are always welcome! 
  • Volunteers receive a free wristband. CLICK HERE TO VOLUNTEER
  • Please donate unopened bags of candy to your child's classroom by 2:00 Friday Oct 25. We need the weight shown on the unopened bag! 

Family-Friendly Activities

  • Hayride from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM is family-friendly. From 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, it will feature “SCARERS!”  
  • Costume Contest! 
  • Bounce houses are available for students. Enter at your own risk.

CANDY CANDY CANDY! 

  • Bring your bags of UNOPENED candy to homeroom! Parent volunteers are collecting these bags and keep a weight! 
  • Every ounce counts! 
  • The classroom with the MOST candy gets a FAST PASS to Trunk'rTreat plus a class PIZZA PARTY and PJ DAY! 2nd & 3rd place winners get a little something too ;)

BOOBASH + DECA! 

DECA is collecting for the Waxhaw Veterans Coffee House this year as their community service, and will have a drop box at the cotton candy tent at Boo Bash  (replacing the book drop box from last year).
